Mountain Power Solutions was founded by Steve Romo and Mac Lewis to address the demand for off-grid power solutions in Western Colorado and Eastern Utah. Meet Our Team
Mac Lewis
Mac Lewis, a proud Cedaredge, Colorado, native, earned his Electrical Engineering degree with a focus on Renewable Energy from the Oregon Institute of Technology. With over 15 years in the solar power industry, he has specialized in off-grid power solutions since 2008. Mac relishes the challenges of working in remote areas and takes great satisfaction in the success of off-grid projects. He values his connections with the inspiring individuals who choose the off-grid lifestyle and appreciates their independence. Mac is a NABCEP-certified installer, an authorized KOHLER generator service technician, and a graduate of Solar Energy International.
David Lewis
David Lewis, a native of western Colorado, earned his Bachelor's in Applied Physics from Mesa State College and a Master's in Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology from Colorado State University. Since 2014, he has contributed to Mountain Power Solutions, enjoying the challenges of remote work. David excels at transforming dysfunctional power systems and sites without power into reliable, quiet energy solutions. He is passionate about the solar energy trade and values the work, people, and diverse locations he serves. David is a NABCEP Associate and an alumnus of Solar Energy International.
Chris Dawson
Chris Dawson, originally from the Denver area, moved to Grand Junction in 2018. With a background in healthcare technology and operations management, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Chris has dedicated his career to enhancing team efficiency and organizational effectiveness through data-driven solutions. Since joining Mountain Power Solutions in 2021, he has embraced the challenges and opportunities in the solar and off-grid energy sectors.
